About Rachel Falzon

Rachel Falzon is an artist based in New Jersey who works primarily in graphite.  She received her BFA at The Maryland Institute College of Art as a drawing major with secondary disciplines in painting and art history.  In May 2020, she earned her Masters of Fine Art from The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art where she grew a fondness for drawing the dead.

Rachel’s artwork is greatly influenced by her Maltese culture and Catholic upbringing. While it incorporates many Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque attributes, you may also spot the occasional pop culture icon as well, Gizmo in particular.
